Found your blog recently via Mya's blog, and can very much empathise with you. Having had three non-fiction books published, with satisfying results, I was hit with a double-whammy when the genre became over-subscribed and unwanted, and my wonderful agent died. I now have a new agent, but the genre problem is less easily solved. :-(
I do hope things work out well for you.
