CONF 606: LIFE OUTSIDE THE WORDCOUNT
Took daughter and friends to Coldplay/Girls Aloud/Jay Z/White Lies at Wembley Stadium. When Bridget Kelly started singing on this came the big tingly moment of the night for me.
The 500 words a day has been going strong. I'm 7,500 words in now and have time-managed my days enough to get out on a few power walks to the V&A. Last time I looked at a pair of mittens given by Elizabeth 1st to her maid, a cope left to them by Henry VII and the new ceramics gallery.
It's nearly time to stop, take stock, take a big breath and get in touch with my agent again. The big news is that the lovely editor who wanted to take me on last year has moved to a different publisher. This means we can approach her afresh with the new material on top of the last novel so I've really got to get it as right as right can be this time.
Bye bye, thanks for visiting, come again soon.
